Children are important to us at Taylors First Baptist Church. They are our future! For that reason, we offer opportunities for your child during their developing years that encourage them to grow spiritually while they are growing mentally and physically.
 

Sunday School

- Sunday mornings at 9:00

Children are motivated to actively apply biblical principles into their lives in a Sunday School that is staffed by caring and dedicated teachers armed with a curriculum that incorporates every learning style into each lesson.

P.E.T. (Preschool Enrichment Time

After the pastor's time with the children during the worship service, four and five year olds are invited to go to a preschool worship service designed especially for them. Preschoolers learn to praise and worship our Lord while singing songs and participating in age-appropriate activities.

Weekday Education Programs

Taylors First Baptist offers quality preschool programs during the week for children from birth through six years.

M.A.F.A.D. (Mothers Away For A Day) Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 9:00 until 2:00
A time for play, activities, crafts, lunch, and a nap. MAFAD is staffed by loving teachers.

Taylors First Baptist Kindergarten
 

Three-year kindergarten	2 day program
Four-year kindergarten	3 day or 5 day program
Five-year kindergarten	half-day or full day option
Six-year kindergarten	a transitional program

Our kindergarten is one of the finest in the state! We offer age-appropriate activities. We combine the phonetic and whole language approaches to teach reading and use a hands-on curriculum to teach mathematics. Half-day programs run from 8:30 until 11:45 and full-day programs run from 8:30 until 1:45. Late stay is available on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays until 2:00 for children in half-day programs.

Summer Activities

Vacation Bible School 9:00 - 12:00 during the first full week after the end of school for children ages 4 through completion of fifth grade

Triple T Camp A six-week day camp (Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00 until 2:00) for children ages 4 through completion of third grade. Children will play games, sing songs, participate in fun craft-making activities, go on short trips, and enjoy water-fun activities.

Seasonal Activities

We offer a full-range of activities for children including a fall harvest celebration called Big Pumpkin Night, monthly after school excursions, Bible Drill each winter, and Team Kid in the summer.
